I found some interesting sites online this week and here’s a round-up of my favourite.
One of the most whimsical and visually appealing blogs I’ve seen in a while is That Unreliable Girl. The art and design here is just gorgeous. If you’re a bit of a tea addict, as is yours truly, you may enjoy checking out these tea bag holders and the tea submarine! And she’s from Sydney–there are maps of my hometown hanging on them there walls–not that Sydneysiders ever say them there walls, unless…oh and the mustachioed coffee cups. Oh, my Kingdom for a cup of coffee…

One of the few sites that has moved me to tears is Holli’s Ramblings. Holli also lives in Ghana and writes about her diverse range of experiences at her blog. The difference is that she has a beautiful writing style and time spent browsing her blog is a rewarding experience. I loved the post from Thursday on Inspiring Modern African Art.
You just never know what you’re going to find online and this blog induced one of those WOW moments. You know, you’ve found something that’s worth sweating like a pregnant toad (a Ghanaian expression: the temperature is around 40 degrees C here) over. Bibliodyssey is the name. If you love woodblock prints, you love ancient scrolls, or you would step over your dying grandmother for a beautiful botanical drawing, then this site just might float your Hokusai boat. The drawings remind me of some of the projects we did at design school years past and makes me ache to get out the pencils and paper again.
