Did you know that forests and oceans “inhale” CO2?
Did you know that ice acts as a CO2 vault? Did you know that, when ice melts way up in the Arctic circle, it releases CO2 that was previously trapped into the atmosphere?
Can you imagine how this is going to go?
Planet earth emits greater volumes of heat trapping gases causing regular, incremental increases in global temperatures.
More ice melts.
More CO2 escapes.
Earth gets even warmer.
Causing yet more ice to melt.
Causing yet more CO2 to escape the ice vault.
Causing the earth to heat more.
It’s not like popcorn where you can turn the gas off and the kernels will, eventually, stop popping when the pan cools down. Turning off the heat, by this time, won’t stop the “CO2″ explosion.
Seriously, what’s the big deal about Iran’s nuclear program when we’re going to have a global gaseous catastrophe that will eclipse any nuclear disaster?
Is this what you want?
