News from G-lish

Thanks for visiting G-lish. We’re undertaking a site redesign which will take a few days. If you’re interested in reading our 46 page Insider’s Guide to Volunteering in Ghana, you can pick it up by clicking on the link Insider’s Guide Vol Final . It will open in your browser and then you can then save and keep a copy to read at leisure. We’ve had a huge response to this guide with loads of readers canceling their first programme choice and shifting to organisations (several of which are recommended in the guide) that will listen and respond to them as individuals.

We expect the site re-design to be completed in the next 5 days. We’re also in the final stages of completing our, over 200 page, Insider’s Guide Book to Ghana. We’re about to begin releasing “teasers” to give you a taste of what to expect.

Meanwhile, you can read all our existing posts at This is Ghana. Check in on the weekend to see us back up and running. Til then, happy travels.

G&G.

Some of our favourite pictures from the last few years:

Fishermen hauling in the nets along the beach in Cape Coast

The guide at Nzulezo Stilt Village offering a scented lily.

The children playing (and posing!) around home in Bolgatanga. Goes to show ‘cool’ don’t need big bucks–this kid has it.

The elephants were messing around in the water at Mole for over 2 hours. I can see where snorkel technology came from.

The beach at Axim Beach Hotel–quite spectacular really.

So, as we said, we’re in redesign mode. If you’d like to keep on top of changes you can subscribe by RSS or email. Meanwhile, check out This is Ghana for all our former posts.
