Review of Ghana guide at Go Packing.com

Our crazy $4 sale is over and thank you to everyone who purchased our Ghana guide over the past two weeks. During all that craziness, and the longest downtime in our online history, the guide was reviewed by the web site www.GoBackpacking.com: The Insider’s Travel and Living Guide to Ghana.

As I wrote at our other blog, This is Ghana, we were rather nervous about this. We don’t know the folks at Go Backpacking and we were sending our bambino (the guide) out into the wild, so to speak. For scrutiny. Nerve-wracking, even though we already received positive feedback from buyers.

For newbies, you can read the review here at The Insider’s Travel and Living Guide to Ghana.

Here is an excerpt from the review by Pamela, a guest blogger at Gobackpacking.com.

“Ghana has been on my travel list for some time now, however I’ve been reluctant to commit it to my itinerary. Researching a trip can be a lot of fun, but reading guidebooks can be boring as hell, and a lot of time they’re outdated. So, when I opened the Insider’s Travel & Living Guide to Ghana and discovered it was 278 pages in length, I was nervous and impressed.

147 pages of cultural info, language tips and background info before the actual city info can be a bit daunting. It’s a lot of information to absorb. However, in a country like Ghana, where schedules and maps are almost non-existent, the information contained within this guides 278 pages can be quite useful.”
